Join us as a volunteer at the Lorne Football Netball Club!
The Lorne Football Netball Club’s success in the 2025 season hinges significantly on the dedication and support of its volunteers. Volunteers are the backbone of our club, providing the essential services that allow the club to thrive both on and off the field. Their involvement ensures that every game runs smoothly, from managing match day logistics to supporting administrative tasks, creating an inclusive, well-organised environment for players and supporters alike.
Multiple volunteer roles are essential to maintaining the club’s day-to-day operations. These range from on-field roles like coaching assistants, team managers, and umpire coordinators, to off-field positions such as canteen and BBQ assistants, gate keeper, and social media managers. Each role, whether big or small, plays a crucial part in the overall experience of players and fans.
Volunteers are also key to fostering a strong sense of community around the club. Their commitment builds connections between players, families, and supporters, strengthening the bond that makes Lorne Football Netball Club more than just a sporting entity—it becomes a vital community hub. The collective effort of volunteers contributes to a positive, welcoming atmosphere that encourages growth, camaraderie, and the continued success of the club for years to come. Volunteers truly are the heart of our club.
